As part of the Montgomery County GreenFest, the Silver Spring Timebank will host a greeting card/ stationary/wrapping paper swap in the Art Room of the Takoma Park Community Center.

What a great opportunity to swap out those cards you never sent for some new ones that say just the right thing. Don’t forget leftover holiday cards and unused postcards. Please be sure all items are in good shape.

During the swap which will run from 11am-4pm, the SSTB will also host a "re-make cards” craft to recycle old cards into new cards, open to all (kids under 12 need to be with an adult). We’re looking for donated art supplies and if you’re cleaning out your closets and have any of the following to donate, please contact silverspringtimebank@gmail.com. Modge Podge
Construction paper
Kid’s scissors
Colored pencils, markers and crayons
Paper scrapbooking supplies
Stencils
Glitter glue or pens (NOT just glitter)
Stamps/ink pads
Small gift boxes, i.e. jewelry boxes of varying sizes
Shoe boxes         

The SSTB will also participate in a panel discussion from 1:30-2:30pm entitled Building Sustainable Communities through the Sharing Economy.
