The Silver Spring Timebank is hosting a Yard Sale and Bake Sale on Saturday, October 15 from 9:00am - 12:00noon at 1206 Noyes Drive in Silver Spring. The event will be outdoors.

We need SSTB members to help in three different ways:

1. Donate just ONE quality new or gently used item to sell at the yard sale
2. Make and package a baked good for sale
3. Volunteer to help - either from 8:00-10:00am (for set up) or from 10:00am-12:30pm (for clean up)

Donated items and/or baked goods can be dropped off at 1206 Noyes Drive on Friday, October 14 anytime between 3:00-8:00pm or on Saturday, October 15 anytime between 7:00-9:00am.

Anyone making a donation of an item or a baked good will earn ONE timebank hour. Volunteers helping at the event will earn the hours that they help.

The Silver Spring Timebank is run entirely by SSTB members. We’re raising some funds to cover our annual costs including payment for our website.

Interested donors and/or volunteers MUST email silverspringtimebank@gmail.com to sign up to donate and/or help. If a rainy day is forecasted, we will cancel the event and donors and volunteers will be contacted.
